Not Very Fond of Cats...

But, this morning when I looked out of the kitchen window and saw a mouse, I was very thankful for the neighbors cat who was lurking in my yard ready to pounce. I really really don't like mice and i am glad that it was outside and not inside but still, it was too close. Kendall thought it was funny to see the cat throw the mouse in the air. He would laugh and say "it fall down." It kept him entertained for quite some time. Shelby on the other hand, thought it was gross to see the blood from the mouse, and then to have the cat leave the mouse. She will be happy to see when she gets home that the cat did come back for it. Hopefully it will leave the remains of the mouse in someone else's yard. I don't want to have to clean that one up! Anyway, today I am a little bit more fond of cats.

Oh my goodness, that's too funny! Is that the difference between boys and girls that I have to look forward to? I don't like either cats nor MICE but I would be thankful for the help too...

Oh come on, how could you not love cats, especially mine? What you don't like watching them attack mice, birds, squirrels and other vermin? I guess you wouldn't appreciate the "gifts" my cats would sometimes leave up in Kellen's room. Well, come to think of it... neither did I, YUCK! But I do love cats and yes I know, I'm the minority.

I'm with you on that one...not too fond of cats, but even less of mice! Last year we woke up one morning to a dead rat on our doormat...definitely nice when they take their business elsewhere!
