Trailer for Samuel's Movie
Samuel's Musical Theater teacher has directed a movie that her husband wrote. They filmed it at the school with several of the students acting in it. Samuel plays The Nerd. Cameron has a small part in it also. I saw the trailer yesterday and it looks pretty funny. So, check out the clip.
His next performances coming up are: Of Mice and Men which is next weekend Thursday the 20th thru Saturday 22, at the high school and coming up in May he plays the villain in Aida. I can't remember the characters name.

First Day of Preschool!!
Today was Kendall's first day of Preschool! He has been looking forward to this for quite some time now. This preschool is at the High School and put on by the students in the child development class. Shelby went to this same preschool when she was 3.
Last night Kendall kept saying that he wants to paint when he goes to preschool, so luckily when we got there this morning they were painting turtles. You can't really tell that it is a turtle in the picture but it was cute.

The Party!!
So, we finally got around to having Samuel's party last night. We rescheduled it a few times because of Samuel's crazy schedule and school break. We figured we better hurry and have it or else we would just have to celebrate it at his graduation in June, and that just didn't seem right. A Teenage birthday party is a lot different than throwing one for a little kid. I didn't have to come up with games or party favors. I didn't even have to sit with them and make sure everyone was playing nicely with each other. All I had to do was welcome them into our home, provide the food, cut the cake, take some pictures and then wait for the party to end. Samuel came up with the entertainment. They played a game called Apples to Apples, sang some Karaoke and just hung out and talked with each other. It was midnight by the time the last guests left. They all seemed to enjoy themselves and got along well with each other. He invited kids from School, Church, and Temple Pageant. He also had two of his cousins here. It was fun to be able to have his friends over to celebrate with him. Next month we will be celebrating Cameron's 16th birthday, maybe I will put Samuel in charge of entertainment for that party.
